1Acceptance of terms
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) apply to your use of MysticPixels.site and the QR code generator on it (together, the “Service”). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
2Our service
MysticPixels is a free online tool that lets you create QR codes with custom colors, styles and logos, and download them as PNG or SVG files.
- The Service is free to use. No registration or account is required.
- QR codes are generated in your web browser. The text, links and logos you enter are not uploaded to our servers.
- The QR codes created are static: the content is stored inside the code itself. We do not host, track or redirect your QR codes.
3Acceptable use
You agree to use the Service lawfully and responsibly. You must not use MysticPixels to create QR codes that:
- Link to malware, viruses or other harmful software.
- Are used for phishing, scams, fraud or to trick people into sharing personal or payment information.
- Lead to illegal content or promote illegal activity.
- Infringe someone else’s copyright, trademark or other rights.
- Contain hateful, abusive or harassing content.
You also agree not to try to disrupt, overload or interfere with the website, or to access it using automated means in a way that harms the Service.
4Your content
You are fully responsible for the text, links and images (such as logos) you use with the Service, and for how you use the QR codes you create.
When you upload a logo, you confirm that you own it or have permission to use it. Because your content is processed in your browser, we do not store, review or claim any rights to it.
5Ownership of QR codes
The QR codes you create with MysticPixels belong to you. You may use them for personal or commercial purposes, including on products, packaging, menus, business cards and marketing materials, without paying us and without giving credit.
6Our website and brand
The MysticPixels name, logo, website design and code are owned by MysticPixels. You may not copy, sell or reuse our website, branding or tool as your own without our written permission.
7Scannability and testing
We design the generator to keep QR codes scannable, but results can vary depending on colors, contrast, logo size, print size, print quality and the scanner app being used.
Always test your QR code with more than one phone before printing or publishing it. We are not responsible for printing costs or other losses caused by a QR code that does not scan as expected.
8Privacy
Your privacy is important to us. Please read our Privacy Policy to learn what information we collect and how it is used.
9Third-party links
Our website may contain links to other websites. We do not control those websites and are not responsible for their content, policies or practices. Visiting them is at your own risk.
10No warranty
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the Service will always be available, error-free, secure, or that it will meet your specific needs.
11Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, MysticPixels will not be liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for any loss of profits, data, business or printing costs, arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Service or the QR codes created with it.
12Changes to the service
We may update, change, pause or stop any part of the Service at any time, with or without notice. QR codes you have already downloaded will keep working, because their content is stored inside the code itself.
13Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will change the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. If you keep using the Service after changes are posted, you accept the updated Terms.
